Tezduyar Receives the Computational Mechanics Award of the Asian Pacific Association for Computational Mechanics
Tayfun Tezduyar (James F. Barbour Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Rice University and Joint Appointment Professor, Waseda University), a member of the Unit for Multiscale Analysis, Modeling and Simulation of the Top Global University Project, received the Computational Mechanics Award of the Asian Pacific Association for Computational Mechanics. The award is for “significant contributions in the field of computational mechanics.” It was given by the president of the association at the opening ceremony of the 7th Asian Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics, which took place in Taipei, Taiwan in December 2019.
