Kenji Takizawa (Professor, Department of Modern Mechanical Engineering, Waseda University) and Tayfun Tezduyar (James F. Barbour Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Rice University and Joint Appointment Professor, Waseda University), members of Unit for Multiscale Analysis, Modeling and Simulation, Top Global University Project, gave keynote and plenary lectures at the 7th Asian Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics (known as “APCOM”). The congress took place in Taipei, Taiwan in December 2019 and had over 720 registered participants.
The lectures Takizawa and Tezduyar gave were titled “Arterial Zero-Stress-State Estimation Based on Kirchhoff–Love Shell Model” and “Space-Time Computational Analysis: From Inception to New Generations.”
