Professor Kenji Takizawa, the leader of the Unit for Multiscale Analysis, Modeling, and Simulation of the Top Global University Project, received the Computational Mechanics Award of the Asian Pacific Association for Computational Mechanics. The award is for “significant contributions in the field of computational mechanics.” It was given at the opening ceremony of the 15th World Congress on Computational Mechanics and 8th Asian Pacific Congress on Computational Mechanics, which was held on a virtual platform, in Yokohama, Japan, in August 2022.
