Short Bio
I am a research associate of the School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University. My current research area is personnel economic and organizational economics, which includes empirical analysis of human resource policies and talent deployment in an organization using personnel records of companies. Before this, I gained experience in a variety of positions including domestic labor management, expatriate management, and management of training for selected executive candidates in the human resources department of Hitachi Chemical Co., Ltd. (currently known as Showa Denko Materials Co., Ltd.). I hold an MSc in development economics and policy from the University of Manchester, the UK.
