Short Bio
I study ancient Greek political thought. My major publication is Justice and Reciprocity in Aristotle’s Political Philosophy (Cambridge University Press, 2015). My representative papers have been published in History of Political Thought (vol. 32, 2011; vol. 40, 2019), Journal of the History of Ideas (vol. 81, 2020), and Polis (vol. 29, 2012; vol. 39, 2022), among others. For more details on my research, please refer to my research map. In recent years, I have also taken up Greek mythology and tragedy as objects of study in political thought, exploring issues such as family institutions, gender, and conceptions of justice.
