In this department, a comprehensive evaluation of cultural representations and projected images, with a central focus on the theater and cinema, will be undertaken. Areas studied from a variety of perspectives include: classical theater, modern theater in the East and in the West, dance, folk performing arts, and the genres, theory and history of cinema.
