Do you want to tell people about your culture? Do you like kids or think about teaching after graduation? How about trying a volunteer activity or making new friends from a different culture?
If so, then sign up for the ICC Outreach Program!
The ICC Outreach Program pairs international students with students from Japan to help foster intercultural understanding in the local community. Each pair creates a lesson about the international student’s culture to present at a Japanese school.
And that’s not all — this time you’ll travel to Waseda Setsuryo Senior High School in OSAKA!
The program finishes on Saturday, so you can go sightseeing in Kyoto or Osaka afterward!
At the orientation ICC will explain details of the program and provide templates and sample materials. Then, you and your partner will work together to plan, practice and then present your lesson at the school.
