We believe that sports create moments that transcend boundaries, connecting people with people and emotions with emotions.
To celebrate these moments and turn them into hope for the future, we are planning a photo mosaic called High Fiving Together.
We would like to ask everyone to share any photos they have of moments like this. We are looking forward to your help!
Details
- Any sports-related photo or photo of high fiving is fine (examples: during games, cheerleading performances, etc.)
- Any method of photography is fine (examples: smartphone, DSLR, screenshot of Zoom meetings, etc.)
Intended Use
Submitted photos will be turned into one giant mosaic.
Note: Each photo will be reduced in size. Please note that detailed expressions may not be visible.
How to Apply
If you have any sports-related photos, please send them to us! Use one of the following methods:

- Post on Twitter with #WASEDA2020

- If you see a panel featuring Tokoron (Tokorozawa City’s mascot), take a photo with it! Use the QR code on the panel to send the photo.
Photo panels are set up at the following locations! If you find one, take a picture of you and Tokoron in front of the panel, or of you high fiving with your friends or family, and send it to us.
- First floor of Tokorozawa City Hall
- North Plaza on the second floor of Grand Emio Tokorozawa
Note: Location may change depending on the date - Tokorozawa Campus Cafeteria
Also, a new photo panel will be set up at Kadokawa Culture Museum from April.

Rules
- Photo submissions will be treated confidentially. Submitted photos will only be used for creating the mosaic.
- Please be aware that your photo may be adjusted to create the mosaic (e.g., colors may be corrected or brightness adjusted).
- In principle, photos can only be submitted by those who took them (copyright holders).
- Please do not submit photographs that have been published in third party publications or on the Internet.
- Ensure that submitted photos do not infringe on the portrait rights or privacy of those in the photo. Please obtain permission from everyone in the photo before submitting it.
- Photos that infringe on laws or public order and morals will not be used.
- Submitted photos and the final product created from them will be featured in printed materials published by the project’s management team and exhibitions. By submitting a photo to the project, you agree that you accept the above purposes of use.
- Any personal information provided will be kept strictly confidential and used only for this project.
- Please note that we cannot return submitted images.
