History

2017	The Student Diversity Center (SDC) was established by consolidating the ICC（Intercultural Communication Center), the Office for Students with Disabilities, and the Gender and Sexuality Center (GS Center) into a single organization.
2017	“The Waseda University Declaration on the Promotion of Diversity” was officially announced by Waseda University.
2018	SDC hosted an event titled “The Human Library.”
2023	The Office for Students with Disabilities was renamed the Accessibility Resource Center (ARC).
2024	ICC hosted an event titled “The Human Library.”
2024	GS Center established a new office in the Student Center (Building 30) on the Toyama Campus.
2025	The Student Counseling Room was transferred from the Health Support Center to SDC and renamed the Student Counseling Center (SCC).
2025	SDC held an event titled “Waseda Diversity Months.”
