The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) commended 8 Waseda researchers for achievements in science and technology. Yoshimichi Ohki, Kuniki Kino, and Toshiki Makimoto from the Faculty of Science and Engineering and Kazuyoshi Tsutsui (Faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Sciences) were presented awards for Science and Technology and Eiji Iwase, Shinjiro Umezu, Yo Kobayashi, and Kenji Takizawa from the Faculty of Science and Engineering were presented with the Young Scientist award. The awards ceremony was held on April 15 at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
