The Concept of the Global Research Center (GRC)

The Global Research Center, under the leadership of the President, Provost, Vice Provost and CFO, rapidly implements initiatives to strengthen research capabilities from a top-down perspective, while at the same time developing, accelerating, and combining the seeds of original and budding research created from the bottom up at various faculties (undergraduate and graduate schools), building a framework for promoting new research that spans the entire University. We will strive to strategically start up research themes that contribute to humanity, bring together great minds from around the world transcending the boundaries of humanities and sciences, and actualize of visions for the future, one after another.

Promoting Integrative Humanities and Sciences Research

With the goal of leading in the creation of the new social value, the Global Research Center will strategically distribute resources to strengthen research capabilities, dynamically accelerate and combine preeminent research fields, and strengthen global collaborations with institutes worldwide as well as industry-academia collaborations that transcend traditional boundaries. It will strive to strategically start up research themes that contribute to humanity, bring together great minds from around the world transcending the boundaries of humanities and sciences through platform-based data collaborations, and achieve future visions one after another.
