Research theme
Social design society all generations of diversity participate in
Research overview
We aim to promote the “Community-based integrated care systems” concept promoted by the Japanese government which provide medical and nursing care, preventive medicine and life support services and support regional life of elderly people, and further to build “regional symbiotic society” in which all the people including elderly people, handicapped people and children work together to create and improve individual meaningful lives. To realize this, we organize collaboration between research groups of social sciences cooperate and bioscience and medical engineering research groups. By implementing elemental technologies provided by the science and engineering teams in society, we propose better ways of town development, integrated community care models and ways of constructing society all generations participate in. And we create new values of society in which all the people realize happiness of life.
