Comprehensive Research on Legal Issues Surrounding Science and Technology in an Advanced Technology Society

This institute was established to conduct mainly the following research in order to implement the research aspect of the project presented in the report of the Committee on Consideration of Advanced Science and Technology and Law, which was reported to the President of the Academy of Law by taking the opportunity of the concept of a new curriculum on “Advanced Science and Technology and Law” at the Academy of Law and the increase in the number of term teachers by Vision150 approved by the University Headquarters, with the volunteers of the Executive Department of the Academy of Law and the faculty of the Academy as researchers.
(1)Science and Technology and Law (Ethical Fundamentals)
There is human ethics on the basis of the law. While making basic theories of legal philosophy or constitution as the main research area, ethical and legal considerations will be made from the viewpoint of understanding the progress of science and technology and enabling the coexistence of sustainable natural and human societies with respect to the various legal problems brought about by its social application. (Events such as social implementation of AI and expanded use of various data, bioethics, etc.)
(2)Public law governing and subsidizing science and technology
Study legal systems that enable the coexistence of the natural and human societies with the legal problems brought about by the social application of science and technology, while focusing on administrative laws (e.g. the Legislation for Combating Infectious Diseases, etc., and the Information and Communications Law, such as the Information and Communications Law, such as the Data Protection Law) as the main research area.
(3)Private legal disciplines of science and technology
To study a legal system that disciplines or protects technology and coordinates interests with diverse legal interests from a private legal perspective on the advances in science and technology and the various legal issues brought about by its social applications, while making the Civil Code the main research area.
