Research theme

To promote, through technical development, the changing of the times from conventional “mass-produced / low-priced competition” to “differentiation / value-addition through quality,” the last 10 years have seen research for “manufacturing technology” centered on mechanical engineering, the basis of this effort.
In laboratories continuing research, firstly, development is done from basic research related to energy-saving systems with less environmental impact, to applied research. Secondly, research is done on local community systems contributing to the revitalization of food / agriculture / the environment.
Specific research themes are as follows:
(1) Research related to energy-saving systems
1) Research on relevant factors and technical advantages for systems technology, which contribute to energy-saving systems with less environmental impact
2) Development of energy-saving analysis simulators
3) Research on the implementation of environmentally friendly air-conditioning systems that use heat pumps
(2) Research of community systems related to regional revitalization centered around food / agriculture / the environment
1) Case study research and practical deployment of regional revitalization efforts centered around food / agriculture / the environment
2) Local development system research of food processing technology to support the engineering aspects of local revitalization
