The Faculty of Social Sciences launched the Institute for Advanced Social Sciences (IASS) on March 25th, 2016 as a breeding ground for research on the social sciences and to reinforce what the Faculty of Social Sciences has developed so far. In IASS, faculty members of the Faculty of Social Sciences as well as affiliated researchers and institutions inside or outside of the university seek to explore multidisciplinary, international, and applied research in the social sciences. By utilizing our members’ various expertise and conducting integrated research, we aim to be a research stronghold for the social sciences that is open to the world, answers the needs of the times, and will also lead the way for the next era. We plan to publish information on all IASS activities such as symposiums and research results on the IASS website.
