Each research project in the Waseda Institute of Political Economy has a dedicated research committee. These committees include a chairperson, researchers belonging to the Faculty of Political Science and Economics or other faculties, special researchers from other universities or research institutions, and other cooperating researchers.

 Activities of the Past

The Center for Positive Political Economy was established in September 2014 on the 12^th
Floor of Building No. 3 at Waseda University’s Graduate School of Political Science to tackle the theme of “Positive Political Economy,” in which research has progressed globally in recent years. The research center is largely composed of 22 of the academic staff affiliated to the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University. It was selected by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology for the “Strategic Research Base Development Program for Private Universities” (“Building Centers of Positive Political Economy Research Based on Theory and Evidence,” Research Representative: Hideki Konishi).
