The Waseda University Faculty of Law is an extremely powerful juristic education and research institution that incorporates a strong sense of social responsibility, having a collective strength which is made up of four organizations, including the “School of Law”, which aims at developing human resources with the true legal sense required by society and the juristic foundation supporting them, the “Graduate School of Law”, which has the mission of developing jurists, the “Waseda Law School”, which develops legal professionals (lawyers, district attorneys, and judges), and the “Institute of Comparative Law”, which pursues true understanding of foreign legal systems.
