Paintings from the Meiji, Taisho and Showa periods

This exhibition will be displaying works by Nihonga (Japanese-style) painters and painters of China’s Southern School from the Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods, such as artsists Hashimoto Kansetsu and Tomioka Tessai.

  • Date: May 10 (Thurs) – June 16 (Sat), 2018
    *Closed on Sundays and Holidays
  • Time: 10:00 – 17:00 (Admission until 16:30)
  • Venue: Shigenori Tomioka Collection Gallery, Aizu Museum
  • Free Admission
  • A gallery talk will be held on June 2 (Sat), 2018 at 13:00 – 13:30
