The ceremonies will be split into <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">multiple sessions over two days<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0to disperse the number of participants per session. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">As a measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19, only graduating students are invited to attend the ceremony.\uff0a<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0Prior to attending the ceremony, all graduating students must take their temperature before leaving home. <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">If you have a fever or Covid-19 symptoms, you cannot attend the ceremony in person.<br \/>\n<\/span>\uff0aA live broadcast viewing area will be set up on Waseda Campus for guardians of students.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">The Spring 2023 graduation ceremonies will be broadcast online. Graduating students who are feeling unwell or do not feel comfortable coming to campus may view the ceremonies live online.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\">Note<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\">The date, time, proceedings, and rules of the ceremonies might change due to the status of the Covid-19 pandemic at that time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>There may be school specific graduation ceremony events that are separate to the University\u2019s main graduation ceremony. Details on the events organized by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/top\/en\/academics\"> each school<\/a>, including whether or not these events will be held, will be announced on their respective websites when decided. The broadcast will be the same broadcast that can be <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page36R_mcid61\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">viewed online.<span id=\"page36R_mcid63\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/waseda.box.com\/s\/fjxwc0nxx69kpnwqxo3el3b6joz5w9ki\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Waseda Campus map and broadcast locations<\/a><\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"page36R_mcid67\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The live broadcast viewing area is scheduled to open one hour prior to the graduation <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page36R_mcid68\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ceremonies\u2019 commencement.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: red;\">Please wear a mask when attending the live broadcast viewing area.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Notes<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\">Doors to the venue will open an hour before the start of each ceremony. As entering the venue of the ceremony may take some time, please arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"color: red;\">Attending students will not be required to wear masks. However, we recommend students to wear masks when conversing loudly. Singing, such as during the school anthem, will require wearing a mask.<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"3\" data-aria-level=\"1\">A thermal imaging camera will be set at the entrance of the venue for body temperature screening. Throughout the venue, alcohol-based hand sanitizers will be available.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"4\" data-aria-level=\"1\">Please strictly follow the guideline of university regarding participating in celebrations that involve eating and drinking (including personal events).<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"5\" data-aria-level=\"1\">The Okuma Garden will be open from 8:00-17:00, and a special display will be prepared for photo taking. Please note that Okuma Garden will be closed if it&#8217;s raining.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"5\" data-aria-level=\"1\">Use public transportation to come to the venue. If you must come by car, please use nearby coin-operated parking spaces.
