However, starting July 6, the University will reopen the administrative offices with shortened opening hours.<br \/>\nAlso starting on July 6, the University will provide designated spaces on campus for students to take online classes in an environment where precautions for the novel coronavirus are taken.<\/p>\n<p>1.Opening hours of administrative offices<br \/>\nIn addition to inquiries by email, the administrative offices will reopen its reception desk and start accepting inquiries by phone.<br \/>\nOpening hours: 11:00 \u2013 15:00 on weekdays<br \/>\n*The administrative offices will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. (Please check the academic calendar for the holidays when classes will be in session, as well as for the days when classes will not be in session.)<br \/>\n*Please contact the office before coming to campus because some offices will be operating differently.<br \/>\n*Because the administrative staff will be working in shifts, there will be fewer staff in all administrative offices than usual, so students may have to wait to speak at the reception desk. Also, it may be difficult getting through the phone. Please feel free to continue using email for inquiries. If students plan on coming to campus, we recommend students to contact the administrative office they plan to visit beforehand to make reservations.<br \/>\n*Administrative offices include those in Okuma Kaikan as well.<\/p>\n<p>2.Designated spaces on campus for students to take online classes<br \/>\nThe following spaces with Wi-Fi connections will be available for students to take online classes.<br \/>\n\u2022Opening hours: 10:00 \u2013 16:00 on weekdays<br \/>\n\u2022Classrooms, PC rooms, and lounges available for use\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/waseda.box.com\/s\/uflklp6r11xpihqqwxnx6ss4lxmdeil2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">https:\/\/waseda.box.com\/s\/uflklp6r11xpihqqwxnx6ss4lxmdeil2<\/a><br \/>\n*When using these facilities, avoid the 3Cs (closed spaces, crowded places, and close-contact settings), practice social distancing, and follow instructions on how to be seated.<br \/>\n*If students are going to be using Wi-Fi connections in classrooms to take online classes, please bring laptops, etc. Use earphones\/headphones and do not speak unless it is a statement or a question for class.<br \/>\n* When entering and leaving Building 3, 8, and 11, use the entrance where the emergency control center is located.<\/p>\n<p>3.Notes on entering and leaving campus<br \/>\n\u2022To be able to contact you if someone in the classroom contracts the novel coronavirus, we ask that students check-in and record a log when visiting administrative offices or using facilities.
