On June 16, Yui Susaki (second-year student at the School of Sport Sciences) beat Rio gold medalist Eri Tosaka and emerged champion in the Women’s 50kg Wrestling National Invitational Championships. Congratulations Yui!<\/p>\n

Yui suffered an injury in her left elbow and had to sit out the game last year. Nevertheless, she has trained hard over the past year and made a great comeback. She is now looking to win the playoffs on July 6 to earn a place to compete in the World Wrestling Championships.<\/p>\n
