{"id":37550,"date":"2016-02-15T10:30:46","date_gmt":"2016-02-15T01:30:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/top\/en\/?p=37550"},"modified":"2016-02-16T15:26:46","modified_gmt":"2016-02-16T06:26:46","slug":"waseda-celebrates-the-beginning-of-memorial-halls-reconstruction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/top\/en\/news\/37550","title":{"rendered":"Waseda celebrates the beginning of Memorial Hall\u2019s reconstruction"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 2, Waseda University celebrated the beginning of Memorial Hall\u2019s reconstruction at Toyama Campus.<\/p>\n<p>Built to commemorate the 75<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of Waseda Universty\u2019s founding, Memorial Hall has been used as a venue for various occasions including entrance and graduation ceremonies, and was the fencing competition arena for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
