Furthermore, 43% of classes have a classroom size of 20 students or less.<\/p>\n<p><em>(As of the end of March 2014 based on information from the Vision150 office. Data collection for the current year is now underway.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Waseda\u2019s \u201cmammoth classes\u201d are a thing of the past. Classes appear dramatically different from those 20 to 40 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Classes are discussion based and emphasize interactivity. Included are English language classes with a maximum classroom size of 4 students available to all students.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/top\/en\/assets\/uploads\/2015\/03\/150303_CTLT.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-23020\" alt=\"150303_CTLT\" src=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/top\/en\/assets\/uploads\/2015\/03\/150303_CTLT-610x341.png\" width=\"610\" height=\"341\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/top\/en\/assets\/uploads\/2015\/03\/150303_CTLT-610x341.png 610w, https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/top\/en\/assets\/uploads\/2015\/03\/150303_CTLT.png 1913w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The long term goal of Waseda Vision 150 is for 50% of undergraduate courses to have a maximum class size of 20 students when the University welcomes its 150<sup>th<\/sup> year anniversary in 2032.<\/p>\n<p>In regards to Waseda University\u2019s graduate schools, 98% of classes have a classroom size of 50 students or less and 84% are 20 students or less.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>81% of Waseda University\u2019s undergraduate classes have a classroom size of 50 students or less.
