The EU established the program in 1979 and has entrusted its operation to Waseda University since 2006. For the 30<sup>th<\/sup> program, 22 professionals from 11 countries including Spain, Germany, Italy, France, and Poland are participating. For the next 7 months, these participants will acquire basic Japanese communication skills necessary for business situations and participate in business and management courses where they will develop practical knowledge and an academic framework.
