This is the best among all private institutions, and seventh place when including all national universities and public research organizations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>KAKENHI, also known as Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, is public funding allocated through a peer-reviewed\u00a0competitive process by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
