100 yen breakfast campaign from October 1 – 26

Start your morning with the 100 yen breakfast

Waseda will be launching the 100 yen breakfast campaign again starting October 1. The campaign was first started in 2016 as part of the University’s efforts to promote healthy lifestyle by encouraging students to have breakfast.

The menu changes each week, but would comprise of a main dish (fish or meat), a bowl of white rice and miso soup at 100 Japanese yen. You can ask for a bigger portion of rice for free.

Students are reminded to bring their student identification card for verification. For more details about the campaign such as the dates and venues, see below.

Details of 100 yen breakfast campaign

Toyama Campus

Dates: October 1 – 12 (only on weekdays including October 8)

Time: 8:00 – 8:45

Venue: Toyama Cafeteria

Tokorozawa Campus

Dates: October 1 – 12 (only on weekdays including October 8)

Time: 8:30 – 9:15

Venue: Cooperative Association (CO-OP) on Tokorozawa campus

Waseda Campus

Dates: October 15 – 26

Time: 8:00 – 8:45

Venue: Okuma Garden House

Nishiwaseda Campus

Dates: October 15 – 26

Time: 8:00 – 8:45

Venue: Rikou Cafeteria

  • Students are required to present their student identification card when purchasing their meal.
  • The 100 yen breakfast campaign only applies to full-time undergraduate and graduate students (including students on double-degree program) as well as research students.
  • First come, first served basis applies.
  • There may be a change to the menu without notice.
