Schedule for Spring 2019 Graduation Ceremonies

The Spring 2019 graduation ceremonies will be held on March 25 (Mon) and 26 (Tue), 2019. The following are the schedules of graduation ceremonies for undergraduate, graduate and affiliated schools. Please take note that the graduation ceremonies will be held at the Waseda Arena located on Toyama Campus.

Graduation ceremonies on March 25 (Mon) 2019, Waseda Arena (Toyama Campus)

First session – 10:00 A.M

Undergraduate schools: 1) School of Law, 2)School of Political Science and Economics and 3) School of Social Sciences

Graduate schools: 4) Graduate School of Economics, 5) Graduate School of Law, 6) Graduate School of Political Science, 7) Graduate School of Social Sciences  and 8) Waseda Law School

Second session – 2:00 P.M

Undergraduate schools: 1) School of Commerce, 2) School of Culture, Media and Society, and 3) School of Humanities & Social Sciences

Graduate schools: 4) Graduate School of Accounting, 5) Graduate School of Commerce, 6) Graduate School of Finance, Accounting and Law and 7) Waseda Business School (Graduate School of Business & Finance)

Graduation ceremonies on March 26 (Tue) 2019, Waseda Arena (Toyama Campus)

 Third session – 10:00 A.M

Undergraduate schools: 1) School of Education, 2) School of Human Sciences (including E-school online degree program), 3) School of International Liberal Studies,  and 4) School of Sport Sciences

Graduate schools: 5) Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, 6) Graduate School of Education, 7) Graduate School of Human Sciences, 8) Graduate School of International Culture and Communication Studies, 9) Graduate School of Japanese Applied Linguistics and 10) Graduate School of Sport Sciences

Fourth session – 2:00 P.M

Undergraduate schools: 1) School of Advanced Science and Engineering, 2) School of Creative Science and Engineering and 3) School of Fundamental Science and Engineering

Graduate schools: 4) Graduate School of Advanced Science and Engineering, 5) Graduate School of Creative Science and Engineering, 6) Graduate School of Engineering Science, 7) Graduate School of Fundamental Science and Engineering, 8) Graduate School of Global Information and Telecommunication Studies, 9) Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems (*See note below)

Affiliated school: 10) Art and Architecture School

*Note: Only applies to selected representatives. All other graduating students of Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems should attend their graduation ceremony at the Kitakyushu Science and Research Park.

To family members and guests

  • Please note that there may be specific instructions from each school about the graduation ceremony. Check with your respective school when in doubt.
  • Please also note that the entrance and exit for graduating students, parents and guardians are all different.
  • Kindly follow the instructions of the staff in-charge at the entrance of Toyama campus.
  • The Okuma Garden will be open to the public from 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. In case of rain, the garden will be closed.
  • The Waseda History For Tomorrow Museum and Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum will also be opened to the public.
