C Space Entrance

On April 17, the Career Center (located in the Toyama Campus) opened its branch office named “C Space” on the first floor of Building 6 in Waseda Main Campus. In principle, C Space is opened on days when classes are being conducted, office hours Monday through Friday from 10:00 to 18:00. It conducts preparatory seminars for both Japanese and international students to prepare them for job-hunting and interviews. Additionally, it also provides job-hunting materials and space for students to do their research, and serves as a platform for students to exchange tips and experiences on job-hunting.

From April 10 to 14, pre-opening preparatory seminars where students learn how to write job resumes and the basics of group discussions and interviews were held. The responses were overwhelming and many people turned up for the seminars. In the near future, the Career Center will conduct a one hour 40 minute seminar where they conduct practical group discussion and interview activities. Students will take turn to play the roles of interviewer and interviewee and ask questions that are commonly asked by companies in Japan.
