A Fresh Start: Student Organizations Recruitment

Dear Incoming Students,

Congratulations on your acceptance to Waseda University. We hope you are looking forward to the excitement and challenges here.

There was a welcoming mood at the Waseda campus with cherry blossom petals falling. Many signboards introducing student club activities stood along the sidewalk. Students handed out flyers and carried picket signs with enthusiasm to recruit new students. In front of building 10, a dazzling live performance by Waseda’s Cheerleading Club welcomed them on March 30th and April 3rd.

From its reputation for having an active student life, the university’s club rush is a spring tradition. Nearly 570 student organizations exist on campus. This number jumps to 3,000 when including unofficial clubs. We hope the new students will find their perfect match.
