European professionals study business in Japan -The 30th ETP Program-

The opening ceremony for the 30th Executive Training Program (ETP) was held at the Delegation of the European Union to Japan on January 15th 2015.
The ETP is a professional development program designed for European businesses interested in entering the Japanese market. The EU established the program in 1979 and has entrusted its operation to Waseda University since 2006. For the 30th program, 22 professionals from 11 countries including Spain, Germany, Italy, France, and Poland are participating. For the next 7 months, these participants will acquire basic Japanese communication skills necessary for business situations and participate in business and management courses where they will develop practical knowledge and an academic framework. After the on-campus program, participants will take part in a 3 month internship with a Japanese company.
