Schedule for the 2014 Spring Entrance Ceremonies is as follows:
Tuesday, April 1: Combined Undergraduate Ceremonies
Location: Toyama Campus, Memorial Hall
Part 1 (9:30-)
School of Political Science and Economics, School of Law, School of Humanities and Social Sciences
Part 2 (11:45-)
School of Education, School of Human Sciences (including Distance Learning) , School of International Liberal Studies
Part 3 (14:15-)
School of Culture, Media and Society, School of Commerce, School of Social Sciences
Part 4 (16:15-)
School of Fundamental Science and Engineering, School of Creative Science and Engineering, School of Advanced Science and Engineering, School of Sport Sciences
Note: Each ceremony will be preceded by a program by the Cheerleading Team and a video about each school’s academic programs.
Wednesday, April 2: Combined Graduate School Ceremony
Location: Toyama Campus, Memorial Hall
Start: 10:00
Wednesday, April 2: Art and Architecture School Ceremony
Location: Nishi Waseda Campus, Bldg #62, Large Meeting Room (1F)
Start: 18:30
To Family Members and Guests
- Please check the schedule of individual events for each school and program.
- Doors are scheduled to open 40 min before each ceremony, but this may vary with progress of the previous event. Ceremonies are scheduled for approx. one hour. No tickets will be distributed.
- Entrances/Exits for students and guests are different.
Please follow the instructions of event staff from the Toyama Campus entrance. - Toyama Campus is expected to be extremely crowded; please do not plan to meet in groups at the Hall or on nearby sidewalks.
- Many University facilities will be open for students and guests: Okuma Garden (April 1: 8:00-18:00; April 2: 9:00-16:00. Closed in case of rain.) , Tsubouchi Theatre Museum, Aizu Museum and Okuma Memorial Room. Please stop by!
