I was invited as a guest teacher volunteer by Honjo Research Park, while my friends helped me with translating the session from English to Japanese. I got this opportunity to talk about my country India.<\/p>\n<p>We had the virtual presence of the honorable mayor of Honjo city. Later, I had a great time telling about India to the young minds who were so enthusiastic. We also had quiz questions within the presentation, which kept elementary school students&#8217; attention fixed and made the class even more enjoyable. I taught them a few greetings in Hindi and they had dozens of questions to ask.<\/p>\n<p>After my presentation, we virtually had Mr. Lee, the Chinese student from Waseda University who gave us insightful details about China. It was really nice experiencing the three country&#8217;s cultures (India, Japan, China) together in a single classroom.<\/p>\n<h3>Comment 1 \uff08\u53c2\u52a0\u5f8c\u8a181\uff09<\/h3>\n<p>It was amazing to see so much enthusiasm and curiosity boxed in one classroom. From how many spices to famous anime, the kids wanted to know it all. I am overwhelmed that I could represent my country and that students enjoyed the class. The fact that they were ready to answer any question, without the slightest of the fear of being wrong, is my takeaway from the project. It was indeed a great cultural experience.
