We introduce security issues that have a high impact and events that require security measures.
Preventing unauthorized login
Recently, there have been cases where third parties have illegally obtained login IDs and passwords of others and misused them.
Waseda University is implementing measures to prevent third parties from using login IDs and passwords illegally, but users are also requested to be very careful when handling their own login IDs and passwords.
Secure password
- Include at least one single-byte lowercase letter, one single-byte uppercase letter, and one single-byte numeral.
- In addition, the English letters and numbers should be meaningless (e.g., not personal names, names in dictionaries, birth dates, etc.).
- In addition to this, the symbols (! #%*+-,:<=>? []^_{}) can be included to make the password even stronger.
