Outline

If you register password reminder service in advance, you can reset the password on your own, in case you forget your password. You can carry out the procedure from this dialog and therefore you do not need to go to IT help desk or Alumni Affairs Section. In this way, you will be able to reset the Password on your own, and saves a trip to IT help desk in order to have the Password re-issued.
This service is available to Faculty members, related staffs, and Alumni. (The service is not available to Students.)

【!】You will need to have the necessary information registered with the Password reminder system.
【!】It is necessary to enter your Waseda ID for the procedure. You cannot use this function if you forget your Waseda ID.

Request Password Reset URL

1 Start up the web browser.
2 Click the following link and proceed to Password reset procedure.

3 Type [Waseda ID], [Security question], [Answer]. Type the alphabetical letter(s)/ number(s) shown(CAPTCHA). Click “Submit”.
4 If the dialog shown on the right appears, click close.
  You will receive an e mail message to the registered e mail address.

Set up the new Password by clicking on the URL written on the e mail message.
Please be informed that there is validity for Request Password Reset URL. Reset the password before URL expires.

When in Trouble

What to do if you want to change the registered information with the Password reminder system.

You can change the registered information whenever you like. You can make change to Security question, the answer to the Security question and the e mail address to receive Password Reset information when you forget your password, as below.
