How to perform the Waseda Mail address Reinstatement

Outline
Students who already have a Waseda Mail address (xx@xx.waseda.jp) and who are advancing further at Waseda University are able to use their Waseda Mail address as their student by completing the "Mail address Reinstatement".
Preparation
- PC connected to the Internet
- Waseda ID: User Copy, distributed at the time of entering university
- Waseda Mail address to continue, password
Steps to perform the continuation procedure
1 | Make sure that you have reached the "ID registration start date" indicated in the notice of Waseda ID and initial password distributed to you when you entered the university. (!) Until the date and time at which login is possible, you will not be able to log in to MyWaseda. |

Start up the web browser Type the following URL address to the address bar. MyWaseda log-in page will appear on the screen. |

If this happens
- When using the "UCARO" for entrance procedures

Waseda ID and initial password will also be issued to those who already have a Waseda Mail address.
The "Waseda ID User Copy" containing your Waseda ID and initial password can be output from UCAROSteps to output Waseda ID user copy using UCARO
- Log in to UCARO
- Select “受験一覧(examination list)” from the menu button (三) on the top right
- Select the faculty, etc. for which you completed the admission procedure and press the "合否照会(pass/fail inquiry)" button
- When you press the "Waseda ID利用者控/Waseda ID User Copyを印刷する(Print Waseda ID User Copy)" button on the pass/fail inquiry screen, the "Waseda ID User Copy (PDF)" will be displayed. Please download it to your PC, print it, etc., and keep it in a safe place.
* To log in to UCARO, you will need the UCARO account used for web application, inquiry about results, and admission procedures.
* If the period for using the UCARO pass/fail inquiry screen has passed, please contact the office of the faculty/graduate school you are enrolling.
* If the "Print Waseda ID User Copy" button is not displayed on the UCARO pass/fail inquiry screen, please wait until the publication start date.
- When you are not using the "UCARO" for university entrance
- Your "Waseda ID user copy" is issued, in paper form etc., by the school/graduate school office you are entering.
If you have not received this, please inquire to the relevant office.
The screen of another account or service is displayed
If you see the "Pick an account" screen or another Microsoft account or service system screen when you log in, you are authenticated with another Microsoft account, or your open browser has different Microsoft account information. It is possible that you are recording. Log off the screen that appears, close all browsers and try again.
If a screen like the one on the right is displayed, click "Use another account".
Where the previous school register information is not recognized, even if there is a reinstated Waseda Mail address it is not displayed on the screen.
In this case, in the lower section of the diagram for procedure 6, the initial setup screen and "I already have a Waseda Mail address." are displayed, so enter the Waseda Mail address to be reinstated in the Waseda Mail address space and click the "Reinstatement" button.
Where the reinstated Waseda Mail address is recognized, perform the operation from procedure 6.
Where the reinstated Waseda Mail address is not recognized, stop the operation and consult with the IT Help Desk.
On the confirmation form, you can confirm the Waseda Mail address by authenticating with the Waseda Mail address and password.
If you still do not know your Waseda Mail address, please contact IT Desks to have your password reissued.
In most cases, the password can be reissued, so bring your student ID card or exam voucher to the Academic Advising Office.
Even if you have used your Waseda Mail address before, if it has already been deleted, you will not be able to use it by performing the Mail address continuation procedure. Get a new Waseda Mail address.
It is not possible to obtain an address with the same character string as the Waseda Mail address used in the past.
