On graduation
The Waseda Mail address obtained while you are a student is yours to use as your personal ID and email address for life.
Use after graduation is described in the email sent to your Waseda Mail address
in March/September, and notifications to MyWaseda, so please refer to these.
Please be sure to complete the following procedures for new graduates.
Procedures on graduation

*Waseda Mail address for people except for regular Student(Non-degree Student, Exchange Student, Japanese Language Program etc.) are available only for course term. However, alumni status holders are excluded.

Becoming an alumni changes the way you can use each service.

MyWaseda
The menu displayed after login switches from one for “students” to a menu for “alumni”.
Waseda Mail
Sending and receiving of email is possible in the same way as while in school.
The saved emails and various settings (forwarding settings, labels, contact address, etc.) can continue to be used as is.
Waseda Moodle
This cannot be used after graduation.
When progressing to the next stage of education (e.g. undergraduate à graduate school), the information that could be referenced in the previous school register cannot be referenced after progressing.
Box
This cannot be used after graduation. The saved data is deleted.

MyPortfolio
This cannot be used after graduation. The saved data is deleted.

Software license
- Office365
- This cannot be used (by alumni) after graduation.
After a fixed period, you will become a “viewer” where it is not possible to create new files or edit existing files. The files, such as Word and Excel, that are already created shall not be deleted. - Trellix Endpoint Security
- This cannot be used (by alumni) after graduation.
If you used this while studying, please promptly un-install this after graduating.

Your computer may be exposed to threats. After graduation (Alumni), please use your own antivirus software. - Other software license

Other Services
- Computer Room
- The computer rooms cannot be used.
- Network services
- You will be unable to connect to the campus network, using wireless LAN connections, DHCP connections or VPN connections to the campus from outside.
At the eduroam(In Japanese) base station, the Waseda Mail address cannot be used as the user ID. - Library services
- You will not be able to “externally access” the library. For details, please see here.
