If the issue persists after updating, please contact us.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>(Added on September 1, 2020)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Following warning message may appear on the screen when you access some of the Waseda University Library website:<br \/>\n\u201cThe site you just tried to visit looks fake.\u201d<br \/>\nThe websites are \u201cE-Resource Portal\u201d, \u201cWINE User&#8217;s Guide\u201d, \u201cResearch NAVI\u201d, etc. Accessing \u201cOff-Campus Access\u201d will cause the same problem since it redirect you to the top page of \u201cE-Resource Portal\u201d.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_8818\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8818 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/library\/assets\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200819_english-610x307.png\" alt=\"screenshot of message\" width=\"610\" height=\"307\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/library\/assets\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200819_english-610x307.png 610w, https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/library\/assets\/uploads\/2020\/08\/20200819_english.png 765w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">screenshot of the message<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Websites begin with &#8220;https:\/\/waseda-jp.libguides.com\/&#8221; is certificated official website of Waseda University Library and it is safe to access.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is considered that this issue is cause by &#8220;Navigation Suggestions for Lookalike URLs&#8221; function of Google Chrome. We claimed to Google that this is a system misjudgment.<\/p>\n<p>If this message appears on the screen, please push the \u201cIgnore\u201d button and continue to access.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>If the warning message appears frequently and annoying, you should turn off the &#8220;Navigation Suggestions for Lookalike URLs&#8221; function.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>How to turn off the function:<br \/>\n1. Copy and Paste following text into the address bar of your Google Chrome<br \/>\n2. Change &#8216;Default&#8217; to &#8216;Disabled&#8217; at section of the &#8220;Navigation Suggestions for Lookalike URLs&#8221; function<br \/>\n3.
