For the students who are graduating or completing programs this September, please keep in mind that the usage of the library will change.
\nIf there are any unreturned items, uncompensated items, or unpaid fees, you will not receive your diploma, and will not be able to use the library as alumni.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please review the items applicable to you under (1) and (2) below, and proceed with the return, compensation, or payment accordingly.<\/div>\n

\n\u30fbNon-degree Students, Research Students, and Exchange Students completing programs
\n\u30fbEnchosei (students who enrolled beyond the standard years of study)*1,<\/h4>\n

Borrowing books<\/strong> : Until Wednesday, September 9
\nReturning books<\/strong> : Until the designated due date for each material\u3010Until Thursday, September 10 at the longest. \u3011
\nEntering the Library<\/strong> : Until the day of Graduation Ceremony (return of the student ID card) *2<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
*1<\/td>\nStudents who will continue to be enrolled for the fall 2026 semester as Enchosei
\nAfter your enrollment status is updated in the library\u2019s data in mid-September, you will be able to borrow book(s).
\nThe due date of the books borrowed before the library data update will not be automatically renewed.<\/span><\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
*2<\/td>\nWhen you graduate or complete programs, please return your student ID to the office of the faculty you belong to according to its instruction.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

\ne.g. Entering a Doctoral program after completing a Master\u2019s Program, Non-degree students entering a Master\u2019s Program
\n\u30fbStudents who will become or continue to be Research Students at Waseda University<\/h4>\n

Borrowing books<\/strong> : Until Wednesday, September 9 *3

*3<\/td>\nIf you want to borrow book(s) on and after Thursday, September 10 or renew the due date beyond Thursday, September 10, please come to the service desk of libraries and reading rooms on and after Thursday, July 16. However, if you have an overdue book, you will not be able to borrow books or renew beyond the due date. The due date will be Thursday, September 24 at the longest.<\/strong>

*4<\/td>\nBetween the return of your student ID and the issue of a new one, you can enter the library (but cannot borrow books) with a \u2018Certificate of Graduate School Admission\u2019 (or \u2018Letter of Acceptance\u2019 etc.) issued by the Graduate School Office. On and after Thursday, September 24, you can enter the libraries and borrow the books with your new student ID.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\n\u203bPlease note that if you are no longer able to log in to WINE due to graduation or withdrawal, or if you advance to a new program and are assigned a new student ID, making it impossible to log in with your former student status, functions such as the Favorites feature will no longer be available.
\nIf necessary, please make sure to save your data on your own before graduation or withdrawal. Please find the details here<\/a>.
