The librarians at the Central Library have curated a collection of books on washi (traditional Japanese paper).
\nThese books explore washi as a traditional craft, as well as its historical and cultural significance.<\/p>\n

There is a wide variety of titles available: some books even include colorful washi samples for you to enjoy.
\nWe invite you to pick them up and take a closer look.<\/p>\n

We are also featuring a special exhibition of origami made with washi.
\nCome and experience the excellence of Japan\u2019s papermaking techniques firsthand.<\/p>\n

\nThere are two types: one that slips between the pages, and another that clips onto the book cover.<\/p>\n
