From July 16 (Wed.) to September 10 (Wed.), you can borrow books longer than usual.<\/p>\n

This rule applies to the Central Library, the Campus Libraries (Takata, Toyama, Science and Engineering, Tokorozawa), the Student Reading Rooms (Political Science and Economics, Law, Education, Commerce & SILS, Social Sciences, Japanese Language, Science and Engineering), and Students\u2019 Reading Room (Graduate School of Law).<\/p>\n

\u203bThe above changes in loan periods will be reflected around 9:00 on 7\/16 (Wed.), 8\/25 (Mon.), and 9\/11(Thu.).<\/p>\n

\u203bThe following cases are NOT eligible for Loan Period for the SUMMER TERM.
\n\u30fbA member of Waseda University borrows material(s) from Keio University Library.
\n\u30fbA member of Keio University borrows material(s) from Waseda University Library.<\/p>\n

About books which have 14 days borrowing period<\/span>
\nOn August 25, the “Maximum Days of Borrowing with Renewals” will change from 90 days to 42 days (normal), so the “Maximum renewal date” displayed in My Library from the beginning of borrowing may be incorrect.<\/p>\n

Example:
\n*Suppose that you borrow a book of 14 days loan by the normal loan rule on July 28, it is during the first summer loan period.
\nDue date: September 26 (60 days after the loan date)
\nMaximum renewal date: October 26 (90 days after the loan date) , and this is incorrect.<\/p>\n

On August 24, the last day of the first summer loan period.
\nDue date: October 23 (60 days from this day), if you renew its due date by My library.<\/p>\n

On August 25, during the second summer loan period.
\nDue date: From September 26 to October 23, depending on your renewal action.
\n*Due date is not shorten by any rule change.<\/p>\n
