For those who will be reappointed and will continue their current position from the list below at Waseda University in Academic Year (AY) 2025* ;<\/span>
\nProfessor (non-tenure-track \/ tenure-track), Associate Professor (non-tenure-track \/ tenure-track), Assistant Professor (non-tenure-track \/ tenure-track), Guest Professor, Guest Associate Professor, Guest Assistant Professor, Part-time Lecturer, Instructor (Part-time),\u00a0Senior Researcher, Researcher, Junior Researcher, Research Associate, Guest Senior Researcher, Guest Researcher and Guest Junior Researcher
\n*This is also available for those whose appointment begins in the middle of\u00a0 the academic year (e.g., fall semester appointees) .<\/h4>\n

Since the expiration date of your library patron data is set for each academic year, your library access will expire on March 31, 2025. Please renew it by following the instructions below.
\nProcedures vary depending on when your AY 2025 university positions are determined, so please check the appropriate section.<\/strong><\/p>\n

(1) [Those who have been confirmed to be reappointed with the same position at the university in AY 2025 by the end of February 2025 (your data of AY 2025 reflected in the university)]<\/h5>\n

In early March 2025, we will automatically renew the expiration date of your library patron data until the end of AY 2025 (March 31, 2026), so you do not need to renew it at the libraries.<\/p>\n

After the renewal in early March, the standard loan period will apply, and you will be able to borrow the book(s) and extend the due date beyond March 31, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

(2) [Those who have not been confirmed to be reappointed with the same position at the university in AY 2025 by the end of February 2025 (your data of AY 2025 not yet reflected in the university)]<\/h5>\n

(2)-\u2460 Those who will not borrow books beyond the academic year (March 31, 2025)<\/strong>
\nThe expiration date of your library patron data will be automatically renewed on April 1, 2025 until the end of AY 2025 (March 31, 2026), so you do not need to renew it at the libraries.<\/p>\n

For Part-time Lecturer<\/b><\/h4>\n

\u30fbAfter April 1, 2025, please use your Faculty ID Card with the AY 2025 (from April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026) sticker on the back.<\/p>\n

\u30fbFor those whose appointment date is not April 1 (e.g., fall semester appointees) and who wish to use the library from April 1 until their appointment date, please contact the Personnel Section for the current academic year’s sticker.<\/p>\n

\u30fbIf you have a previous library card, please return it to the library.<\/p>\n
