This service is positioned as a trial service in the 2024 academic year. <span style=\"color: red;\">It was officially launched on April 1, 2025 after a trial period.<\/span><br \/>\nWe hope you will take advantage of this service, which will be easier to use than the previous one.<\/p>\n<p>(1) Requesting and borrowing books between Waseda and Keio \u201cKeio-Waseda Library Book Share\u201d<br \/>\nEligibility for service : full-time faculty &amp; staff, and professor emeritus and graduate students<br \/>\nThis service allows users to request books from the other institution&#8217;s library through the search system of home institution and borrow the books at their home libraries.<br \/>\nPreviously, users have to request to issue a library card when borrowing books, and a separate application was required when requesting books from the other institution&#8217;s library.<br \/>\n*Services have been extended to graduate students since November 1. (Added on November 6) <\/p>\n<p>(2) Visiting the other institution&#8217;s library using ID card with IC chip \u201cKeio-Waseda Library Passport\u201d<br \/>\nService recipient : students and faculty\/staff<br \/>\nThis simplifies the procedure for visiting the other institution and allows you to use your own faculty\/staff\/student ID card with IC chip to enter the other institution&#8217;s library.<br \/>\n*Registration is required for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>For details of the service, please click <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.waseda.jp\/library\/en\/services\/non-waseda\/#accordion_13\">here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have made some changes to the Waseda-Keio service effective April 1.
