This presentation will provide a brief overview of business responsibility with respect to several important components of the SDGs. For example, business responsibilities for protecting the environment and human rights, and the role of collaboration with governments and international organizations to address climate change. The findings are based on discussions with various stakeholders in the business sector including corporations, employees, institutional and individual investors, financiers, engineers and scientists, supply chain partners and customers among others.

The presentation will also address two important roles for business schools in realizing a sustainable society for the next generation: fostering responsible business leaders who deeply understand corporate social responsibility (CSR) and efforts by management scholars to better identify the meaning of business sustainability.

Prospected Audience

Faculty members of university, graduate students

Registration

Please send an e-mail titled “Nov.4th WIAS Sustainability Seminar” including your name and affiliation to rieem.waseda [at] gmail.com by October 29 (Thu).

You will receive a reply mail on October 30 (Fri) with registration URL.

“Business responsibility toward the realization of sustainable society”（November 4） Organizer Wase […]

[95
82,94,73
post-7187","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-en","tag-events-en","tag-general-en","tag-research-en
["GET
