The debate surrounding the 2024 elections in both Mexico and the USA has mainly revolved around the issue of immigration, because migrant citizens and lawmakers in Mexico have been deeply involved. The purpose of the final seminar is twofold. First, we will share the results of the empirical analyses we have conducted so far. Second, we will also present further lines of research for the future to fully test the sequential logic of processes of migrant participation-representation in Mexican politics.
