By incorporating these technologies, companies can optimize resource consumption, reduce waste, and enhance supply chain efficiency. IoT devices can collect data on resource utilization and product performance, while AI and Big Data can analyse this data to identify opportunities for optimization and circularity. This can lead to closed-loop material flows, where waste is minimized, and products are reused, refurbished, or recycled.
