Research Topic

Reinterpretation of Religious values in Multicultural Societies

My research focuses on social interactions through eating practices . I am particularly interested in exploring everyday food consumption and identity in Asia. Based on ethnographic fieldwork, I will explore the globalization of halal matters, which includes standardaization and diversification, and its impact upon our everyday lives.
