The mandolin is also known as one of the first instruments for children because its tuning is the same as the violin.

This time, the ICC will host a special talk session and performance with world-renowned mandolin performer Carlo Aonzo. He has even performed for Pope John Paul II in Rome! There will also be a special session in collaboration with the Waseda University Mandolin Club.

From bright and energetic to melancholic and sorrowful, this is your chance to experience the beautiful sounds of the mandolin live.

First time listeners are very welcome.
