Waseda University and Tokorozawa City signed an agreement in 2018 with the Italian Olympic Committee, relating to holding a pre-games training camp at the Tokorozawa Campus ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games.
In accordance with this, from early July, the Italian National Team will arrive in Japan, and will be conducting final preparations ahead of the Games during the following period at the Waseda University Tokorozawa Campus.
Camp implementation period: Early July to early August.

During this pre-games training camp, we will establish an area that cuts off contact with the outside in the facilities used by the Italian National Team, and conduct infection prevention measures to prevent contact between the participating Italian athletes and the users of the facilities. During the camp implementation period, the athletes will receive a PCR test everyday before moving on to the Games.
We are also planning to hold online exchange events with the Italian athletes and other events. We look forward to your participation. Details will be announced separately on the website.
