Waseda\u00a0participated in Study Abroad Fair hosted by UC Berkeley on\u00a0September 25th 2015. This year three people from Tokyo and one from the San Francisco Office attended. They introduced one of the Waseda University’s study abroad programs called GLP\u00a0to interested students at the International House on the UC Berkeley Campus. Because of the large number of students interested in the country of Japan or Japanese language and also thanks to the volunteers of\u00a0UC Berkeley student who studied abroad at Waseda before\u00a0and Waseda students who are currenlty exchange students at UC Berkeley, the Waseda booth was a great success with having more than one hundred visitors. For the school introduction, in addition to the school programs,\u00a0they also explained about the many international exchange events at the International\u00a0Community\u00a0Center (ICC) as well as some of the features of Waseda, such as the internationally diverse environments. Some students were nervous about the prospect of living alone in Tokyo, so\u00a0they explained to them in detail about the Life Support programs available at the Center for\u00a0International\u00a0Education (CIE).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
