Although no cases of infection have been confirmed in classroom settings, cases of infection occurred during club and extracurricular activities have been reported. As such, in consideration of the health and safety of all students, all club and extracurricular activities (with the exception of online activities) will be prohibited in principle starting on Friday, 8 Jan.<\/p>\n For events and activities that have been approved formerly, you are to either cancel or postpone them. In addition, you are strongly urged not to participate in any competitions during the state of emergency. Regardless of your decision, you are to report to or consult with the Student Affair Section on whether you are cancelling or postponing previously approved events, as well as whether you are participating or not participating in upcoming competitions.<\/p>\n During the state of emergency, the Student Center will technically be closed but you are allowed to visit respective administrative offices in the Student Center if you have to. Additionally, the moving in and out of items to and from respective club rooms in the Student Center will also be allowed. When entering the Student Center, you are to follow the necessary procedures, wear a mask and sanitize your hands as usual.<\/p>\n Even though the number of Covid-19 infections among people in their twenties have been increasing, the university has been able to prevent large-scale cluster outbreaks on campus. This credit also goes to all of you and we would like to thank you for continuing to be cooperative in exercising vigilance and carrying out the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. However, considering the seriousness of the current Covid situation, we believe the above are the right decision to make and we would like to seek your understanding on the matter.
